During mid-April, the wildflowers bloom along the Lost Hills and Carrizo Plains, and the beautiful gardens are in full bloom. Elephant seals and calves rest along the shore in great numbers before heading out to sea and relax in full view. This will be a photo-intensive workshop concentrating on fieldwork. Beginning along the California coast we’ll photograph some of the beaches, elephant seals, and gardens including the famous Hearst Castle. Moving inland we’ll concentrate on the landscape filled with colorful wildflowers, lone oaks, and an old mission. Although we will be concentrating on landscape images, there could be wildlife nearby to photograph.
