Weeklong Workshops
Southern Baja California
November 1-8, 2011
Join Sean Bagshaw, David Cobb and Christian Heeb for a photographic exploration of beautiful southern Baja. We’ll be photographing the region’s landscapes, towns, wildlife and wilderness. During this photo-intensive week-long workshop you will experience a Baja that few people get to see. We will enjoy the remote locations, abundant sunshine and turquoise water that the Baja desert landscape is famous for. Our early November time frame will take advantage of a lush desert, Day of the Dead celebrations and a lack of crowds. Cost includes lodging (rates based on double occupancy), transportation within the park, and two meals per day. (Workshop transportation, lodging, and meals are for paying workshop attendees only.)
Glacier National Park
Sept. 21 – 28, 2011 (with Sean Bagshaw)
During late September, the snow begins to dust the steep mountains of Glacier National Park, and most of the tourists have gone home. Deer and elk can still be spotted, and bear, moose, bighorn, and mountain goat, still roam the park in full view. This will be a photo-intensive workshop concentrating on fieldwork. Beginning on the western side of the park we’ll photograph some of the spectacular scenery along the Continental Divide. Moving to the eastern half we’ll concentrate on the landscape filled with colorful aspen, hike to spectacular waterfalls, and lands dotted with beautiful lakes. Although we will be concentrating on landscape images, there will always be wildlife nearby to photograph. Cost includes lodging (rates based on double occupancy), transportation within the park, and two meals per day. (Workshop transportation, lodging, and meals are for paying workshop attendees only.)
