We’ll lodge on the grounds of the Oregon Gardens, photograph the spectacular Silver Falls State Park, and visit the Iris Gardens. Prepare to learn how to photograph garden landscapes, macro flower photography, and impressionistic flower images. Lensbabies will be available for your practice with creative flower photography.

June 17-19, 2011
Join professional photographers Christian Heeb, David Cobb and Sean Bagshaw for a weekend of field shooting and presentations with a focus on professional photography. Based in scenic central Oregon, this workshop is designed for photographers interested in learning more about the business of professional freelance photography. Swiss born Christian Heeb is an internationally renowned travel photographer. He has over 120 photo books to his name and has photographed in more than 70 countries. He has worked as a professional photographer for 25 years. David Cobb is the owner of Best of The Northwest Photography workshops and leads more than a dozen photo trips each year. His work has been published in magazines, calendars and other printed materials around the world. He is currently working on a book about North American Japanese gardens. Sean Bagshaw’s images have become well known in world of fine art nature photography. In addition to being published in books, calendars and greeting cards, his work is featured in private and corporate collections nation wide. He has been honored in numerous international competitions including the International Conservation Photography Awards and the Windland Smith Rice International Awards.

The volcanic central Oregon Cascades are filled with many photo opportunities including, reflective lakes, stunning snow-capped peaks, golden cliffs, and dramatic waterfalls.

July 15-17, 2011
This is a two day photo tour to the dramatic Mt. Jefferson wilderness area of the Central Oregon Cascades. There are only 4 spaces available, so they will be going fast. We’ll be photographing the reflective lakes in Jefferson Park during the sunset/sunrise golden hours, and camping along one of the lakes. *Note: Photo Tour is for paid attendees only.

August 5-7, 2011
This is a two day photo tour to the beautiful Mt. Adams wilderness area of the southern Washington Cascades. There are only 4 spaces available, so they will be going fast. We’ll be photographing the reflective lakes,beautiful wildflower meadows, and numerous waterfalls during the sunset/sunrise golden hours, and camping near an open meadow. *Note: Photo Tour is for paid attendees only.

October 28-31, 2011
This is an area made up of incredible waterfalls, dramatic cliffs, and a couple of dominant mountains. Throw in fall color and you have a photographer’s paradise. We’ll be based in the quaint town of Hood River, Oregon, we’ll photograph Columbia River Gorge waterfalls, sunrise at Mount Adams, sunset at Mount Hood, and a few of the abandoned homesteads and schoolhouses in the eastern gorge wheatfields.
